Late June 2009

So this entry is made by an annoyed me..just fyi.

I wasn't even in TO GO today. i was QA, but i had to help train this girl in TO GO.
So i saw @ one point that she was having trouble so i helped gather up orders that were prepared & bagged them up for her. I had one which was only a burger with fries, and handed it off to her; the man was standing there in line waiting.
That was it.
Later she was wrapping up, and went to the office to count down. So i had to answer the phone & it turned out to be that guy with the burger. He was complaining that he'd "ordered it Medium-Well & it was PINK AS HELL...!" I say, "Ok sir, let me get a manager to help you." & my manager took care of it.
The man came up to the restaurant and got another burger made by my manager.
Later i answered the phone yet again and it was the same man!! He was complaining this time that the 2nd burger "did not come with bacon!!!" & he was obviously upset. I said, "Really? I could have sworn i watched that burger being made & that there WAS bacon put on it...Hmm" & he started yelling at me, so i said, "OK, OK sir, calm down. Let me get the manager for you..." GEEZ!
I tell my manager & he takes the phone call.
Afterward, he comes out of the office & tells me to tell him when the guy comes back and to NOT TALK TO THE GUY AT ALL. i'm like..."OK?"
So i let it go & continue to QA.
When the man arrives, i quickly tell my manager without greeting the guest.
My manager goes out there & listens to the man rant and rave, while i stay in the kitchen & other co-workers listening to the customer & manager.
After a minute, my manager goes into the office, comes out with a $10 in hand.
I overhear my manager telling another co-worker that the man said to him on the phone, "You need to tell your employees that they can FUCK OFF!!!" & after that, my manager said "This conversation's over" & was quiet, while the guy continued to rant & finally asked, "hello? are you there?!" & he replied "this conversation was over once you started to use foul language!" & the guy yelled "i'm coming up there!!"
So, i'm so glad that's overwith and i know i was not in the wrong, b/c i was not rude or mean or even trying to insult the guy, i was just saying what i thought b/c we weren't busy ONE,
TWO: That that particular burger ALWAYS comes with bacon b/c it's a "Smokehouse Bacon Burger" & won't come without bacon unless asked.
& THREE b/c my MANAGER MADE THE DAMN THING!!

oh, and that i'm moving back to Florida in a month or sooner. YAAAAAAAY!!!

June 4th. Sum Sum Summertime 2009

Lots of stuff has been going on. My dad got fired last week, my mom moved back south to florida, my brother's girlfriend is having a baby (his 2nd), my ex & i went on vacation to Asheville 2 weeks ago for 5 days and had a blast! We're not back together b/c he's still in florida, but it would be nice if we could. it's just not possible right now, although i'm contemplating on moving there to help my brother and Mellissa (girlfriend) out. i know they'll need help with rent and all. But i also still want to move out to Santa Cruz!
My cousin moved out of the house she was in when i visited her & says she may live in Frisco by the time i'm able to come back! she's still in oakland as far as i know, now.
things are tough on the east coast. lots of the girls i used to hang with from chili's have left or gotten fired, which really sucks b/c i never hear from them now. my best girl friend from work, Candace's last day is in 4 days & will be moving another week after that!! I'm super sad...Jessica, another good friend from work, is moving to the coast to go back to college after the summer as well..& yeah i'm just not gonna know what to do after that!!
So things are getting pretty grim now. my dad's dog ran away 2 days ago now too! It serves dad right tho, b/c he "would never" get him neutered..so i have nothing to say about that.
