Since i arrived in Tally, i've had nothing but funtimes!! :)
I am overjoyed at the results of being here.
Before when i lived here, i did nothing. I went nowhere except a few choice places that ended up putting me in a bad place in my life. Now that i'm back, Greg has taken me to a bunch of different places in and outside of town. Places like the Waculla St. Park, Museum of Florida History, town of Havana, and right now i'm at St. Teresa's beach with him & his parents!! We've also eaten @ various yummy restaurants like the Black Bean (cuban), Mellow Mushroom, Banditos Burritos & a couple seafood places outside of town that were super yummy!
Greg & i have been together every single day since i've been in FL. I haven't slept @ my brother's once. But who'd want to sleep on an air mattress when your man has a super comfy mattress, now complete with a foam top pad!!? Hehe. I've slept on an air mattress the entire year we were apart. Once my room is finished at my bro's i'm saving $ for my own bed! Air mattresses are so uncomfortable. All i do now is sleep when i'm there, lol.
I started my job @ the Pkwy Chili's...i'm not thrilled with it at all. The kitchen is super small & doens't have at all the walkin room, let alone standing room for more than 5 people...It's ridiculous. I don't know how long i'll be able to stand it, in all honesty. Although from what i hear from everyone, nowhere is hiring. So, i suppose i will have to suck it up for now. Unless i wanna go home, which right now is not on my mind at all. I miss my old Chili's so very much, especially the friends i've aquired. The people here do not have the same sense of humor as back home, which makes work drag by slowly. But i may possibly get better tips here since we do Carry Out (to the car). I noticed the girl i trained with getting at least $2 on just about every order. which will be sweet once i get going.
I've talked to mom just about every day that i've been here, which is no different from when i lived in NC. My dad doesn't call very often and i find myself worrying for him a lot...i hope he's doing ok. i need to stop spending $ so i can send him about $100, which i meant to do anyway but have been having such a good time here that i put it outta my mind everytime i go out. I just hope he's doing alright.
I miss the hell outta my dogs too...wish i had daily photos of them to look at.
