Geez. Yeah folks, i'm back in N.C. I am making the most of it, having gone to California for about 3 months and had the best time ever!! I have a great new outlook on life because of the trip and the things that happened on it. I am super excited about going back, and am in love with lots of new things!!
I got to hang out with my cousin and aunt on my dad's side which was completely different and fun!!
Since coming back to N.C. i've gotten my job back @ Chili's and love it - mostly. Hehe. I am reading books - The Twilight Series. :D I've read the first two books and currently awaiting Friday so i can go out and buy the last 2 books!! I CAN'T WAIT!!
I also just a week ago bought a used SONY digital camera (5mp & 10x zoom, movies W/ sound & everything i've ever wanted & waited so long for!!) I'm very happy with it, even if the flash doesn't work..which is fine. It is a phenominal camera & what should i have expected from Craigslist??
Anyways, work is killing me; having back to back days off mon & tues & only getting paid by-weekly hasn't enabled me to have very much off-time...Usually i end up staying in town or @ work all day because there's nowhere else TO go on my 2hr break in between shifts. Oh yeah, I'm working doubles now all the time, too!
It's nuts. But anyways.
My brother in Tallahassee has my car too, which somewhat sucks at the moment. I'm not able to work past 9pm b/c my mom goes to work @ 10pm & we are sharing the car. This is also inhibiting me from attaining a server position @ work; they stay later or till closing.
So until i get my car back, if i choose to do so, i will continue to be To Go girl @ Chili's, which is fine by me b/c i get paid probably more than i would if i was just a straight server.
